I've tried a lot of white denim. Some I've loved and others I've hated. It's hard to find a great pair of denim, period. But, it's even harder to find a great pair of white denim.

Because... what if you can see through them? What if they are just a tad 'off-white' and don't match other white fabrics. What if you can see the pockets? What if there is too much stretch or not enough? So. Many. Variables.

I am sharing this pair of jeans with you today because they are the best I have ever found (this is not a sponsored post). You'll also never believe where they are from (Talbots!!) and even better? They're under $100 (but extremely high-quality and well-made).

They are entirely opaque and you cannot see the pockets at all (the pockets are actually a nude color). They are a 'skinny' style and are called a 'jegging' but they are a true pant (nothing like actual leggings). They have quite a bit of stretch to them which makes them very comfortable. They don't stretch out/get baggy as you wear them and they don't shrink in the dryer. Overall, they hold their shape very well!

The length is perfect for my 5'6" frame so I don't have to have them hemmed (they also come in petite and plus sizes). But the best part? They're super high waisted. In the waist, there is this hidden 'slimming' panel. I have never really thought I need a slimming panel for my waist but this just makes everything look totally smooth and it makes the pants just feel more comfortable around my waist.

The jeans run big. I wear a size 27 which translates to a size 4. With these, I wear a 2. I'd definitely suggest sizing down at least one size.
